- Connie Charnell, D.F.A. received her Diploma of Fine art at North Island College in Courtenay B.C. She began her art career with a Fine art Scholarship from West Van High school. The next two years were spent traveling throughout Mexico, studying art which was leave her with a strong influence showing in her rich earth-tones and vibrant colours.
